Eredita la passione del nonno sarto e resta affascinato da un mestiere fatto di sacrificio, ma anche di eleganza, tessuti pregiati, capolavori realizzati a mano. Fabio Sodano started to work in haute couture when he was very young. He inherited the passion for tailoring from his grandfather that was a great Neapolitan tailor: Fabio was fascinated by a profession made of sacrifice, but also made by elegance, precious fabrics and handmade masterpieces. So he learnt from the great tailors the golden rules of Neapolitan tailoring and decided to begin a personal journey with his own brand, with collections that offer tradition and innovation. His work is now dedicated to men who want to wear unique clothes as a second skin. He brings his whole experience to the laboratory and turn it into delicate processing steps, that he performs with his tailors.

Tutto inizia con la scelta del tessuto. Osservando disegni e colori, il sarto immagina l’abito che sarà. Un abito che racchiude l’estro di Fabio Sodano, a partire dalle inconfondibili regole della sartoria napoletana: le tasche a toppa, il taschino a barchetta, la doppia impuntura, la manica a mappina, il tre bottoni strappato a due. Minuziosi dettagli che rendono unica la giacca napoletana, confortevole e riconoscibile in tutto il mondo.
The whole process starts with the choice of fabric: the master tailor visualizes in his own mind the suit that will be created by observing designs and colors of the fabrics. The outcome is a suit that embodies the Fabio Sodano’s inspiration, starting from the unmistakable rules of Neapolitan tailoring: the patch pockets, the breast-pocket, the double sewing, the sleeve with the Neapolitan “mappina”, the three buttons ripped off to two. All those details make the Neapolitan suit unique, comfortable and recognizable all over the world.
